Radio knowledge, fellowship, and service
The Mesabi Wireless Association exists to "promote radio knowledge, fraternalism, and individual operating efficiency" and to advance amateur radio in the community. We do that through liaison with public service agencies, community education, and group activities.
ARRL-affiliated club since October 2, 1947

Meetings are held every month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mountain Iron. Non-members are always welcome. Whether you're licensed, studying, or just curious, stop in.
New to ham radio?
Club members are happy to mentor new operators. For license exams, the Ely, Grand Rapids, and Duluth clubs hold VE testing sessions — find dates on the ARRL exam session search.
